The Xeon processors in the past have offered expanded memory support, extra management features, multiprocessor support up to 8-way, and the most well known feature, massive cache sizes up to 2MB in size. All of these features have made the Pentium II and III Xeons quite popular in the server and very high-end workstation marketplace.
