GamePC has posted a review on the Intel Prestonia Xeon 2.2 GHz
With the release of Prestonia, Intel has now raised their high-end workstation / low-end server Xeon chip to the same clock speeds as the Pentium 4 Northwood processor, which boasts the same 512k on-die cache and 400 MHz FSB. As both the Pentium 4 and Xeon processors share the same core architecture, along with the same clock speeds and most of the same feature sets, many of the Xeon's potential workstation customers are now turning to the lower priced Pentium 4 processor for a quick shot of processing power.Read more
