The new $300 Pocket Concert Audio Player is the first MP3 player to ship with 128MB built-in memory, twice as much as other competing products. Intel claims current owners of portable MP3 players rarely purchase add-on memory cards, mainly because of the price. For example, a 64MB card can easily cost $150 or more. Add the cost to a $250 MP3 player. The cost-per-minute of music is much higher in this case. So, the new player is very reasonably priced with all the memories a user may ever need.
