Windows 2000 has the unique option of “bandwidth on demand”, which means you will always connect at 64k, but windows can activate the other ISDN line as necessary. In theory, it is an extremely useful option, although I found in practice that windows rarely activated the second line, as the speed of incoming data from the internet changes dramatically all the time.
