Till now, chipsets supporting dual processor was only produced by Intel or independent High-End Workstation / Server manufacturers. Moreover, OS and applications taking advantage of dual processor were scarce. But today, as Win2K’s and Linux’ are spread out the market, chip manufacturers like ServerWorks, VIA and AMD tend to give more importance.
