KFA2 (Galaxy) GeForce GTX 480 LTD OC Anarchy Review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the KFA2 GeForce GTX 480 LTD OC Anarchy

We review and test the KFA2 GeForce GTX 480 Anarchy edition. Roughly half a year after the introduction the first custom air cooler GeForce GTX 480 cards arrive on the market. One of NVIDIA's AIBs KFA2 immediately cocked their gun when Artic Cooling, or just 'Artic' these days, released their Acelero Xtreme Plus cooler. A massive three slot cooler with three 90mm fans capable of disposing 250W heat from the graphics card.

It really is exactly what the doctor ordered as this is the very first cooler that can keep any GeForce GTX 480, factory overclocked, at roughly 50 to 55 Degrees C when fully stressed. The KFA GeForce GTX 480 as presented today falls within their Anarchy series graphics
cards, the card is pre (factory) overclocked for you at 760 MHz on the core, 1520 on the shader processors and its memory is bumped towards 3800 MHz (effective). In this baseline configuration the card barely touches 55 Degrees C when fully stressed, while operating at very normal noise levels. It doesn't stop there though, thanks to the superb cooling we will take the product towards 900 MHz whilst remaining under 65 Degrees C at normal noise levels.

Hitachi LifeStudio Mobile Plus External Drive Review
Benchmark Review posted a review on the Hitachi LifeStudio Mobile Plus External Drive

Hard drive capacities are expanding so fast it is easy to think, "Who actually uses a whole terabyte!?" But as storage space increases, so does the demand for fatter content. Managing even a gigabyte of files can be a cumbersome task, just imagine what it will be like to corral 1000 times that many files. "Where did that file just get saved?" To address this growing problem Hitachi Global Storage Technologies has evolved the portable hard drive by marrying the hardware with built-in content management software. Benchmark Reviews got hold of a 500 GB version of one of these new drives. Model HLSMPUA5001ABB is part of the LifeStudio Mobile Plus series and geared towards small and large storage portability. Benchmark Reviews will analyze this new breed of storage technology to see what the LifeStudio line has to offer.

Deepcool Gamer Storm Review
OCC has published a review on the Deepcool Gamer Storm

Overall, the Deepcool Gamer Storm is a very good performer, beating the Noctua NH-U12P by a slight margin and maintaining a relatively small footprint. Installation is easy, though could be improved for multiple uses on LGA1366 systems. The base is mirror polished, which is hard to find in stock form, and the heatpipes are staggered so that there is less airflow blocked from other heatpipes. The only thing that I feel this cooler lacks is that it only comes with one fan, and could offer a slight bit more performance in a push/pull configuration.

ASRock 890FX Deluxe4 Review
PureOverclock posted a review of the ASRock 890FX Deluxe4 AM3 motherboard.

The ASRock 890FX Deluxe4 is more of a "premium" product that still looks to offer great value. Let's take a closer look at this motherboard and see if ASRock can continue its success in offering strong products at modest prices.

Corsair HS1 USB Gaming Headset Review
HardwareHeaven.com takes a look at the Corsair HS1 USB Gaming Headset

So, if anyone had asked us a year ago 'what is the next area that Corsair would branch out into?' we can say with absolute certainty that our response would not have been audio. Some sort of peripheral, a mouse or keyboard maybe but audio... not a chance. It was therefore with a certain amount of surprise that we saw Corsair soft launch the HS1 gaming headset a few weeks back.

Gaming Headset Buyer's Guide and Roundup
HotHardware.com posted a Gaming Headset Buyer's Guide and Roundup

For PC gamers, the gear we use to play can provide a tangible edge in our games. Although much noise is made about backlit keyboards boasting gamer oriented layouts and fancy mice with odd shapes, the most important considerations for gaming are still the guts of the gaming machine, a comfortable desk layout, a good monitor and a quality sound reproduction device. While most gamers understand the need for a capable system and a quality monitor, they don't often appreciate that last bit about sound.

Any old speaker will provide the most basic audio cues, but you'll need something better if you want a real competitive edge. To that end, we're going to give you some tips on what to look for in a gaming headphone or headset, then show you several examples of what's available in a mini-review round-up. We didn't just grab the nearest gaming headsets in reach either. Our round-up includes gaming headsets using a variety of signal input and sound output methods to get you started on your headphone/headset hunt. We also threw in some standard analog headphones for comparison and contrast...

Synology Diskstation DS1010+ and DX510 Expansion unit review
KitGuru takes a look at the Synology Diskstation DS1010+ and DX510 Expansion unit

Today we look at a very attractive pairing from Synology, the DS1010+ scalable 5 bay All-in-1 NAS server for small business users and the DX510 expansion unit which delivers another five hard drive bays for a two fold increase in capacity. These units combined allow for 20TB of storage which will more than satisfy the needs of any small business. These are not entry level products, the DS1010+ alone costs £725 inc vat, without any hard drives included so we will be ensuring they achieve justifiable performance levels.

Genaudio AstoundSound Audio Expander 3.0 Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the Genaudio Astoundsound Audio Expander 3.0

AstoundSound Expander 3.0 is a software audio application that runs on your Macintosh or PC. Expander 3.0 runs in the background processing audio from all applications and takes any stereo audio as input and produces a significantly wider stereo image, while preserving center information, in real time. The result is said to be a wider, fuller and richer listening experience that can be easily heard. Read on to see if that is true.

Astoundsound Expander processes a single output of audio, and if you happen to have more than one output it allows you to choose the output you wish to use. It is much simpler to use than the SRS Labs' HD Audio Lab; basically, all you really have to do is install it and it sits in your system tray and processes the audio. But please don't take "simpler to use" as a negative, as that is just simply not the case. The audio sounds every bit as good as its competitor and it doesn't require a ton of adjustments. Astoundsound Audio Expander 3.0 is equipped with the ability to change the settings to choose between whether you want to listen to movies, music or games, as well as the ability to change the actual intensity of the effects processing and it has a preamp feature that lets you add or take away gain from the audio...

These days, a good deal of ISPs include a router with their broadband packages to sweeten the deal and to make setup easier. ECS GeForce GTX 460 1GB Black Video Card Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the ECS GeForce GTX 460 1GB Black Video Card

The ECS Black GeForce GTX 460 graphics card comes with 336 CUDA cores that are factory overclocked to 765MHz on the core clock, which is way up from the 675MHz used on the NVIDIA reference design. ECS didn't stop there though as they added a dual fan Arctic Cooling GPU cooling solution to make sure they card operates quietly and to ensure a long service life. If you are looking at the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 series you might want to look at one of these!

The ECS GeForce GTX 460 1GB Black video card is a fun little card with the solid price/performance ratio from the GTX 460 series cards with an ultra efficient heatsink and a hefty factory overclock. When overclocked up to a 900 MHz core speed the GTX 460 1GB begins to close in on the performance of a GTX 470 (the factory overclock itself puts it above the GTX 465) and well above cards from the Radeon side of the fence for a lower price. The heatsink uses 92mm fans (with unrestrictive aluminum fins and a plastic shroud) which are dead silent at an idle state and not audible over even just the pump from the Corsair H50...
