Like most GeForce 2 boards, the Leadtek Winfast GeForce 2 GTS comes with a default clock speed of 200MHz for the core and 333MHz for the memory. With a heatsink 220% the size of a normal GeForce 2 heatsink, you would think I would be in overclocking heaven with this board, but like I said before, the GeForce 2 doesn´t produce as much heat as the original GeForce.Read more
In order to overclock, I used the coolbits registry hack to enable the overclocking sliders. This gives me the ability to overclock both the core clock speed and the memory clock speed. With the two months of use with this board, I was able to play around with the different clock settings to determine what is stable and what is not. My particular board was able to clock at 236MHz for the core and 360MHz for the memory. This is generally an average overclock for a GeForce 2 board.
