eTeknix: AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT 12GB Graphics Card Review Featuring XFX QICK 319

AMD hasnt had much to compete with team green since the 6000 series RDNA2 lineup, which has for the most part been pretty successful with arguably the best cards in terms of value for money being around the 6700 series.

eTeknix: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB Review Featuring XFX MERC 319

1440p gaming has been getting more and more popular as of late but on the AMD side of things, there hasn’t been anything to cater for it with the stack seeming pretty lacklustre with just 3 models, the 7600, 7900 XT and 7900 XT.

LanOC Reviews: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT

AMD launched their first 7000 Series cards back in December with the RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX. They have also launched the lower end of their 7000 Series with the RX 7600 but the middle of the lineup has been completely missing until now. At Gamescom, AMD announced both the Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT to fill in some of the middle of the lineup with a focus on 1440p performance. Today I’m going to check out a few options from both GPUs but to start things off I am going to check out the Radeon RX 7800 XT reference card to get a look at the base performance the 7800 XT is capable of then we can go from there.

TechPowerUp: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT Review

With the Radeon RX 7800 XT, AMD is going after the GeForce RTX 4070. Our review confirms that AMD has achieved performance parity in rasterization and is pretty close in ray tracing, at a much better price point, and they are giving you 16 GB VRAM, instead of just 12 GB.

TechPowerUp: ASRock Radeon RX 7800 XT Phantom Gaming Review

ASRock's Radeon RX 7800 XT Phantom Gaming is a factory overclocked custom-design model. Thanks to its large triple-slot, triple-fan cooling solution, temperatures and noise levels are excellent, and performance is higher than GeForce RTX 4070, at a much lower price point.

TechPowerUp: ASUS Radeon RX 7700 XT TUF Review

ASUS went all-out with the cooling design for the RX 7700 XT TUF. The cooler not only looks and feels great thanks to its all-metal construction, it also has excellent cooling performance, because it's actually identical to the one on the RX 7800 XT TUF. Also included is a dual BIOS feature with a whisper-quiet low-noise BIOS.

TechPowerUp: ASUS Radeon RX 7800 XT TUF Review

With the TUF, ASUS has released a custom-design variant of the Radeon RX 7800 XT that improves on the AMD base design in many aspects. You get a triple-slot, triple-fan cooling solution with a full-metal cooler that looks fantastic, dual BIOS with quiet mode and adjustable RGB lighting.

eTeknix: Gigabyte RX 7800 XT Gaming OC 16GB Graphics Card Review

Today sees the launch of the latest GPU from team red in the form of the 7800 XT. A card thats aimed at 1440p gaming at max settings for a price point of $499 which makes for quite an interesting proposition, especially as NVIDIA dont really have anything to cater for that part.

TechPowerUp: Sapphire Radeon RX 7700 XT Pulse Review

The Sapphire Radeon RX 7700 XT Pulse is priced at AMD's MSRP of $450, which makes it an attractive choice. You still get a great cooler that's paired with outstanding fan settings that result in a whisper-quiet gaming experience that's quieter than most GeForce cards.

TechPowerUp: Sapphire Radeon RX 7800 XT Nitro+ Review - Fantastic Overclocking

Sapphire's Radeon RX 7800 XT Nitro+ is the quietest RX 7800 XT reviewed today, it's virtually inaudible at full load thanks to its powerful cooler. The card is also the best overclocker, it gained a spectacular 15% in real-life performance, which makes it nearly as fast as RTX 4070 Ti.

LanOC Reviews: Sapphire RX 7700 XT Pulse

With our RX 7800 XT testing out of the way with both the reference card and the XFX overclocked card I can finally jump into the Radeon RX 7700 XT to check out its performance. For this card AMD doesn’t have a reference design so to check out stock clocked performance I’ve got the Sapphire RX 7700 XT Pulse. It has the stock clocks and is Sapphire’s budget friendly card which in the past has combined great performance while avoiding adding in all of the unneeded flashy features you see on higher-end cards including RGB. So I’m going to dive in and check out what Sapphire has done with their card design, and then after that, we can put it through our test suite. When we are done we can then step back and see how it all comes together and where the 7700 XT as well as the 7700 XT Pulse fit into the market.

eTeknix: Sapphire RX 7700 XT Pure 12GB Graphics Card Review

The newest RX 7700 XT is here from AMD with a $449 price tag and aimed at 1440p gaming as a somewhat bold move to take on NVIDIA in the mid-tier gaming section, not that NVIDIA really has anything to cater for in that area as the 4060 Ti.

With the launch of the RX 7800 XT, while AMD released their MBA/reference model, they decided not to send us one for launch, though instead, we ended up with three AIB cards instead including the beauty that we have here today.

LanOC Reviews: XFX Merc 319 7800 XT Black

I already took a look at the Radeon RX 7800 XT reference card this morning so we have an idea of how the new 7800 XT GPU performs. But most people aren’t picking up the stock-clocked reference cards, they run the partner cards with larger coolers and are overclocked. To get an idea of how the 7800 XT performs in that situation, XFX sent over their Merc 319 7800 XT Black. I’ve been a fan of XFX’s clean styling for the last few generations, they haven’t done the standard “gaming” styling that packs a bunch of angles into the design with multiple shades of grey. They have simple smooth fan shrouds and stick mostly with black. I’m hoping that the Merc 319 7800 XT Black is going to continue that. So let’s dive in and see what the Merc 319 7800 XT Black is all about and how it performs.

LanOC Reviews: XFX QICK 319 RX 7700 XT Black

With today's 7700 XT and 7800 XT launch, I had the chance to check out a reference RX 7800 XT up against XFX’s MERC 319 RX 7800 XT Black and I was extremely impressed with its performance both from the overclock as well as its cooling and noise performance. So getting in the stock clocked RDX 7700 XT Pulse and checking it out then getting to check out the XFX Qick 319 RX 7700 XT Black which is overclocked and has a similar looking cooler design minus a few bells and whistles. I’m excited to see if the QICK 319 RX 7700 XT Black can impress as well. So we are going to dive in and see what the QICK is all about then put it through our full test suite to check out its performance. Let’s get into it!

XFX QICK 319 RX 7700 XT Black - LanOC Reviews

TechPowerUp: XFX Radeon RX 7700 XT Qick 319 Review

The XFX Radeon RX 7700 XT Qick 319 is a factory-overclocked custom design variant of AMD's new release. It offers 12 GB VRAM instead of 8 GB like on GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, and runs considerably faster than the latter, too. Thanks to a great cooling solution, noise levels are minimal as well.

TechPowerUp: XFX Radeon RX 7800 XT Merc 319 Review

The factory-overclocked XFX Radeon RX 7800 XT Merc 319 comes with a powerful triple-slot, triple-fan cooling solution that uses a metal shroud instead of plastic like on many other cards. The cooler runs much cooler than the AMD reference version, by over 20°C, and noise levels are greatly improved, too.
