AMD Flute SoC with Zen 2 CPU and Navi 10 Lite GPU spotted

Possible Xbox Project Scarlett SoC appeared in the UserBenchmark database briefly. The new AMD Flute SoC appears to be rather similar to the previously spotted AMD Gonzalo, which is reportedly destined to become the powerplant of the PlayStation 5. Tom's Hardware put together a comparison of the Flute and Gonzalo in a table I have reproduced below. For your reference ES = Engineering Sample, and QS = Qualification Sample (QS is a step closer to finalised silicon).

As you can see above, AMD Flute contains 8C/16T CPU cores running at a 1.6GHz base clock and 3.2GHz boost clock. Most sources reckon it uses AMD's Zen 2 cores. Moving on to the GPU, this looks like it is Navi 10 Lite (from the PCIe ID) but we don't have an indicative clock speed from @Komachi's data. So there is a lot of similarity between Flute and Gonzalo but there should still be some differences, as with the current state of console competition.

Darksiders III: Keepers of the Void DLC Review

Once again I am back in Darksiders III, but this time it is not to analyze its performance on the GPUs I have at my disposal, but to look at its Keepers of the Void DLC. This is the game's second DLC, with the first being The Crucible that I am not looking at. With this DLC, Fury enters the Serpent Holes on the request of Vulgrim to remove a threat that may come to block his free access, and that of the Horsemen who also use them for fast travel. The ultimate reward for this DLC is Fury's Abyssal Armor, but along the way you also earn new weapons for your Hollows.

In Win A1 Plus Mini-ITX Case Review

Intel 10-core Comet Lake CPU Developer Kit Released?

Almost since the release of the 9th-generation Intel processors last year, rumours have been emerging surrounding their latest ‘Comet Lake’ architecture. We have, however, in recent months started to see what we could call far more substantive leaks.

For example, last month we saw a leak purporting to contain the entire ‘Comet Lake’ SKU range of processors. This was then followed by rumours that the processors would set to be released much sooner than the expected mid-2020 release date.

Well, in a report via PCGamesN, an Intel 10-core ‘Comet Lake’ processor has reportedly been ‘completed’ with a developers kit apparently making the rounds.

Listing For 10-core Intel Comet Lake CPU Hits European Regulatory Database

There’s a lot of excitement flourishing through the CPU market right now. With its latest Ryzen 3000-series launch, AMD has built up a super-strong defense against the competition. As we found in our in-depth look at the 8-core 3700X and 12-core 3900X, the company is packing a lot of value into the new chips, with the 3900X in particular putting out a great numbers against Intel’s 9900K, which carries the same price tag.

Intel’s had some well-documented missteps with its 10nm development, which shows us now how critical it is that the company had worked its way to become a performance leader for so long. MSI GeForce RTX 2060 Super Gaming X Review

Early this month, NVIDIA released two new graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 2070 Super and 2060 Super. Today we are going to take a look and review a custom RTX 2060 Super – the MSI GeForce RTX 2060 Super Gaming X graphics card. This is MSI’s best RTX 2060 Super variant available. They also have the Armor OC and Ventus OC; but among the three variants, the Gaming X is the better one when it comes to aesthetics and cooler design. It’s also going to be priced a tad higher compared to the reference RTX 2060 Super. NVIDIA claims that the RTX 2060 Super is faster than the GTX 1080 and “and is also up to 22% faster (15% average) than the GeForce RTX 2060 GPU that was launched earlier this year at 2560×1440”. Palit GeForce RTX 2060 Super JS Review
