The Tech Zone has posted a review on the Logitech Formula Force GP Wheel.
Response with the wheel was quick and fluid. Unlike a standard wheel (I have an Interact V3 Wheel) the force controls not only add to the immersion, but also eliminate some of the vagueness, especially of on center feel. In the case of Need For Speed, the engine rumble is a bit overdone, but doesn't necessarily detract from the playability. Indeed with the added precision, and the additional feel provided by Force Feedback, I was able to consistently improve my lap times. Head to head againt my non-force feedback wheel, my laps were consistently better as well, and my cold start laps were much better. Games like NFS have a lot of replayability, but starting cold with it (I haven't played in about a month) I was able to play better with the ForceFeedback wheel consistently.Read more
