3D Spotlight has updated their Low End PC Buying Guide.

Athlons are just getting cheaper and cheaper. We would have recommended a Duron CPU however the fastest flavor available is the 750mhz piece which we didn´t consider fast enough, after all the extra performance you will get will be worth paying for unless you are on a really tight budget, not to mention that the Athlon TBirds below the 900mhz mark are selling for very little money compared to what we were used to see a year ago for high-end processors of that time.
