Says it will keep sending early notification emails

Microsoft has backtracked on its decision to stop sending email notifications in advance of its Patch Tuesday update.

Microsoft originally unveiled plans to stop sending early alert emails from 1 July in an message to security professionals on 27 June.

According to a copy of the message posted in the Full Disclosure forum the move was due to fresh legislation from the Canadian government.
