A Windows Phone screen will project its content onto the infotainment display

From DailyTech:
Microsoft is looking to put the Windows Phone 8 operating system on built-in car displays via technology that simply connects the two.

According to The Verge, Microsoft showed off a new concept called Windows in the car, which allows Windows devices to mirror content on its screen into a touch-friendly car interface (such as an infotainment system).

Microsoft's Steve Teixeira took the stage at the Build 2014 conference to show off the new tech, which uses the connectivity standard Mirrorlink to project a Windows Phone's screen onto the infotainment system's display
