The final inking of the deal was revealed today on Twitter by Phil Spencer, who is head of Microsoft's Xbox division.Microsoft now officially runs Minecraft
"It's official," he said. "Today we welcome Mojang to the Microsoft Studios family. We're excited for the possibilities ahead w/the Minecraft community."
Microsoft announced that it was buying the Minecraft maker Mojang for $2.5bn in September and breezily boasted of the blocky possibilities.
