Microsoft makes it easier for developers to port code to Windows 10, including Android and Apple apps

Microsoft has gone even further with its cross-platform strategy, announcing that it will enable apps developed for Apple iOS and Android devices to run on Windows 10, while also delivering a new Visual Studio tool for code editing that runs on Windows, Linux and Mac.

During an eventful keynote session at the Build 2015 developer conference, Microsoft executives explained how they were working to enable developers to create a compelling user experience on top of their platforms.
