Company officials signed off on Build 4417.5 of the server messaging platform at 9:19 a.m. PST, a source close to the company said. Microsoft later confirmed that Exchange 2000 had been released to manufacturing and said an evaluation version of the RTM code will be available for download from the Exchange Web site by the end of next week.
