Microsoft today released the first Insider Preview with a codename of Redstone 2, which is to be the next major update to Windows.

From Neowin:
Today's release is also in line with the company's other promise, which is that PC builds will come first and Mobile won't be for a few weeks. Indeed, this is not the first time that Microsoft began rolling out builds for a new PC update before phones even got the old update.

If you can't tell from the giant image above, today's build is codenamed Redstone 2 (Rs2), which is slated to be the next major update to Windows 10. Non-Insiders won't see it until 2017 (likely April), as Microsoft has stated that there are to be no more major updates to the OS this year.
