Since its release early this year, the Microsoft Windows 2000 product line has continued to win widespread customer and industry support.
Early this week at PC Expo 2000, Microsoft announced that it expected sales of the Windows 2000 operating system license to top 3 million copies by today. Microsoft has also exceeded its goal of seeing at least 100 applications receive "Certified for Windows" approval, and has trained more than 250,000 IT professionals to date on the platform. And with the expected summer release of Windows 2000 Service Pack 1, Microsoft anticipates a surge in the number of Windows 2000 deployments.
