Void your Warranty has posted a preview on Windows Whistler.

Whistler is supposed to be the first Microsoft OS to combine the Windows 9x code base with that of Windows NT (Windows2000 was going to be the first to do this...but well we all know what happened there). It will ship in several versions: Personal, Professional, Server, and Advanced Server, and there will also be 64-bit versions of Professional, Server, and Advanced Server for users with Intel Itanium machines (most likely none of you here). The Whistler requirements are pretty steep. Steeper then Windows2000. The OS itself uses about 650megs of HDD space. Here are the proposed requirements by Microsoft.
