Microsoft has released an API for Onedrive cloud storage

New features have been added, including bulk retrieval of file and folder changes to reduce the number of API calls required to sync, resumable uploads and fragmented file uploading, and customisable thumbnails.

As well as offering the API externally, it is also being incorporated at an internal level into Microsoft's apps so there is some parity between external and internal apps.

There are plans for further features to be added during the course of the year, and it is at this point that users of the current Live SDK will start to see a reduction in parity in functionality.
