AMD Ryzen 5 2600 and ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero spotted
This might be the new Ryzen 2000 desktop processor. AMD Ryzen 5 2600 A new engineering sample has been spotted at SiSoft website. The sample goes by a codename of ZD2600BBM68AF_38/34_Y and it features higher clock than its predecessor. While the ZD means it's a desktop processor, the rest does not necessarily mean it's Ryzen 5 2600 (it may be just a coincidence to be listed as ZD2600). If the data presented at SiSoft website is correct, then the new Ryzen 5 2600 processor would be 200 MHz faster than Ryzen 5 1600.Read full article @ Videocardz.com
AOC Q3279VWF FreeSync 31.5in Monitor Review
Screen sizes over 24in used to require budgets bordering on £500 and even beyond, particularly once the 30in boundary had been crossed. But with the Q3279VWF, AOC is offering a 31.5in display for significantly less than £300. In fact, at the time of this review the AOC Q3279VWF was available for £200, which is phenomenally cheap for this much screen area.Read full article @ KitGuru
ASRock X299-ITX/ac Motherboard Review
ASRock's X299-ITX/ac is that mini motherboard for Intel's X299 platform that takes all that is good and shoves it into a board smaller than a shoebox. With a triplet of M.2 ports and dual LAN chips, plus Wi-Fi, there's almost nothing missed, other than some PCIe slots, making this board an engineering feat only ASRock could accomplish.Read full article @ TechPowerUp
AZZA Titan 240 Case Review
The AZZA Titan 240 is certainly a nice case at a decent price. It follows the current theme of a full glass side panel along with a power supply shroud, and it is one of a shrinking number of cases that still has space for optical drives. You also get some great cooling options with support for a 240mm top radiator and up to a 280mm front radiator. There are vents and mounting provisions for a couple of 120mm fans on top of the PSU shroud in case you would like to pull some air in from the bottom of the case. The overall style of the case is sort of middle of the road, meaning the case would be fine for a gaming setup, or just a daily driver. It is not flashy like some gaming cases can be, and it is not a boring sterile box as some cases can be.Read full article @ OCC
Cougar Phontum Gaming Headset Review
The Cougar Phontum gaming headset incorporates a 53mm driver to provide more audio output across multiple situations than the standard 50mm driver. Next, Cougar utilizes a dual-chamber design to achieve a profound distinction between bass, midrange and treble frequencies. Finally we have a graphene diaphragm to reduce distortion due with their lighter and stiffer construction – making for faster response with less unwanted flex of the cone.Read full article @ Neoseeker
der8auer Skylake-X Direct Die Frame launched
Intel Socket 2066 CPU frame facilitates cooling with the heat spreader detached. A product has been launched to facilitate direct die cooling on the Intel Skylake-X Socket 2066 platform. The new der8auer Skylake-X Direct Die Frame (or SK-X DDF for short) completely replaces Intel's ILM (Integrated Loading Mechanism) as well as the mounting holes for the CPU cooler. Once installed you can simply, safely and efficiently cool the processor with a direct contact heat block, via a standard air or liquid AiO cooler, for example. According to der8auer use of the SK-X DDF can result in an up to 25-30°C temperature reduction, providing latitude for a significant OC performance improvement.Read full article @ Hexus

GIGABYTE X299 Designare EX (Intel X299) Motherboard Review
GIGABYTE's X299 Designare EX is now GIGABYTE's top of the line X299 motherboard, taking back the reigns from the X299 Aorus Gaming 9, or so I thought. GIGABYTE actually is positioning the Designare EX between the Gaming 7 and Gaming 9. However, that isn't the whole story; the X299 Designare EX replaces some rear IO, mainly USB 3.0, with two Thunderbolt 3 ports. The X299 Designare EX is one of the first motherboards for the X299 platform with ThunderBolt 3, but it's also one of GIGABYTE's redesigned X299 designs. A new VRM, better VRM cooling, and a unique color theme are what the X299 Designare EX has to offer over the Gaming 9, so let's take a look.Read full article @ Tweaktown
GIGABYTE Z370N WIFI (Intel Z370) Motherboard Review
Traditionally GIGABYTE has been quite basic with their Mini-ITX offerings, but now they have decided to kick things up a notch to compete with their competition. Their new Z370 Mini-ITX motherboard offers dual M.2 slots, dual Gbit LAN, WIFI, and even special features such as HDMI 3.0. The motherboard also features a new color theme; full RGB LED support and even an M.2 heat sink. The motherboard is significantly different than what GIGABYTE has offered in the past, so let's see if it can compete with larger ATX motherboards.Read full article @ TweakTown
