Well I sat around a bit thinking about what makes up a superior mousing surface. Here´s what I came up with; there needs to be as little friction as possible applied to the bottom of the mouse. It hould slide across the surface making your mouse movements more precise, but at the same time applying friction to the mouse ball so that your movements are more accurate.
