Regular readers will not be surprised to learn that my most recent review of three mousemats (the RatpadzGS, Speed-Pad and Steelpad 3S) includes audio clips of what the plastic ones sound like when struck, and information on how their plastic burns.

You _may_, however, be surprised to learn that I had good reasons to do these things.
