T-Break has posted a review of MSI's new Pentium 4 based board based on the new SiS 645 chipset supporting DDR-333 memory.
Now that the year has almost come to an end, there are quite a few P4/DDR solutions available- Intel themselves have the 845D chipset which is widely adopted, VIA has revamped their P4X266A chipset which offers awesome performance, ALi is all set to release their P4/DDR chipset and finally we have SiS which is offering their DDR333 solution- the only one in the market as of yet. We had taken a look at the SiS 645 reference board and performance was good, obviously better than PC-266. And now, we have retail boards that have started appearing and are based on this chipset- the first one of them being the MSI 645 Ultra.Read more
