ViaHardware has posted a review on the MSI K7T Pro. This is one of the first Socket A motherboards based on the VIA KT133 chipset to hit the market. Here is a snip:
Recently there has been a lot of hype about the possibility of the AMD Duron and T-Bird Athlons having unlocked multipliers. Having a motherboard that would support multiplier changes would mean potentially great over clocking. I am sorry to say the MSI K7T does not have multiplier changes. But with recent news from AMD claiming the multipliers will be locked and reports that motherboards will be shipping without multiplier changes this could become a moot point. Anandtech.com also found that even with manipulation of the motherboard to change the multiplier resulted in only lowing of the multiplier and not raising it.Read more
