AthlonOC has posted part 3 of their Networking 101 series

In my last 2 articles I spent some time on the basics of networking and how to set up your home LAN. While these articles are great and are the basics for what is needed, let’s face it, in today’s world we all want our home network’s set up to give us access to the internet.

So that is what this article will be about. This will also be the longest, and most in-depth of the three articles. As there are MANY MANY questions, and details in this. If you are trying to set up just a basic connection, it should be pretty easy. However if your trying to set up some servers and the such it, gets a lot more difficult. I would suggest you spend a moment and brush up on the first two articles( Part 1 Part 2) to make sure your up to speed, as I will make some assumptions in this article that you have read the previous two.
