Noctua are a new company to us and are probably to you also. Noctua are a cooperation between the Austrian Rascom company and the Taiwanese Kolink company which have build up a reputation for high quality products. The owl logo is the symbol of the Greek Goddess Ahtene who represents wisdom, science and strategy.
Right this is basically a larger version of the incredible NH-U9 AMD Athlon 64 & Intel Pentium 4 cooler.
Its overall size is 124 x 70 x 150mm high and weights 700g.
Just like its smaller brother a fan is optional. It can be fitted with any fan up to and including 120mm size.
