Dead or Alive 6 Review

There was a brief moment while playing Dead or Alive 6, Koei Tecmo’s latest fighter, that I had to stop playing and download Dead or Alive 5. Something felt amiss and I didn’t know what, so the hope was that returning the last step in the Dead or Alive franchise would help jog my memory or remember what I was missing. What it made me realise is that Dead or Alive hasn’t moved on much.

Dead or Alive 6 is, of course, the latest incremental upgrade in the Dead or Alive franchise. It’s the kind of sequel that will have anyone not already a fan of the series confused about what’s been changed or added. Quite rightfully so. Fighting games have always been closely tied to visual presentation, and Dead or Alive 6 looks an awful lot like Dead or Alive 5, frankly.

Gigabyte GTX 1660 Ti OC 6G Review

It's a dual-fan 1660 Ti from Gigabyte, priced at £269 - but is it any good? For GTX 1660 Ti launch day, we reviewed the MSI Gaming X card – a high-end factory overclocked model with a £50 price premium over the 1660 Ti’s £259 MSRP. While it proved to be a very capable card, the added cost meant it didn’t offer very compelling value. That could all change today, however, as we turn to Gigabyte’s GTX 1660 Ti OC 6G. It’s still a dual-fan, factory overclocked card, but it comes in at just £269, putting it much closer to the baseline MSRP. Is it worth buying?

RHA CL2 Planar Review

I love music. I couldnt imagine life without it, and for something which brings me so much pleasure, Im willing to pay for decent quality.
But Ive always said that I have mid-range ears. Give me a Bang & Olufsen system in the low single-digit thousands, or something at the bottom end of the Naim range, and Im a very happy man. Anything beyond that is wasted on me. And, indeed, for casual listening, stereo-paired HomePods hit the spot; to me, they sound way better than they have any right to at that price level.
