In keeping with NVidia's 6 monthly release cycles, the Geforce 4 is the latest in NVidia's line of consumer graphics cards. It supersedes the Geforce 3, and the name represents a whole range of different cards. There are the MX's, the budget cards of the range, which are based upon the NV17 chipset. Then, based upon the NV25 chipset, there is the Ti Series - the cheaper Ti 4200, the middle range Ti 4400, and finally there is the top gun, the Ti 4600. NVidia also has a number of mobile Go! Solutions for laptops, which might make gaming on a laptop a real possibility.
