Dan´s Data has posted a review on the OCZ Performance Series SDRAM and Thermaltake Memory Cooling Kit
I´ve checked out a 256Mb "PC166" module in the OCZ "Performance Series" line. It´s rated for CAS 2 operation at 166MHz, which is pretty impressive, but not necessarily very useful. To understand why, though, you have to plough through considerable technical information. Which I did.Read more
Coincidentally, I also got one of Thermaltake´s Memory Cooling Kits for review. So I checked out how much heat the OCZ module produced, how much heat it theoretically _could_ produce, and whether sticking show-off pieces of metal on it or any other SDRAM would be likely to make much difference.
You may be able to deduce my opinion of the Thermaltake products by looking at an alternative technology I developed along the way. It works just as well as the Thermaltake RAM coolers, but has considerable other advantages.
