KitGuru: Corsair 110R PC Case Review

Corsair’s 110R case is a compact Mid Tower chassis, available with either a steel side panel variant (110Q) or with a tempered glass side to display components in full view. The 110R’s minimalist design ensures that your system can fit in almost any environment without looking out of place.

Flexible storage options are provided in the Corsair 110R – the case supports up to four storage drives including two 2.5-inch trays and two combo 3.5/2.5-inch removable cages. Additionally, there is a 5.25-inch ODD bay which is often a rarity these days.

Hexus: Palit GeForce GTX 1660 Super GamingPro Graphics Card Review

Nvidia pre-empted AMD's moves in the mainstream add-in graphics card market by releasing the GeForce GTX 1660 Super GPU earlier this week. Coming in at just £10 more than the existing GTX 1660, it improves on the base design by swapping out slow, old GDDR5 memory running at 8Gbps for some GDDR6 humming along at 14Gbps. The 75 per cent extra bandwidth offers between 10-20 per cent extra frame-rate performance, which is enough to put this Super variant on the heels of GTX 1660 Ti. Looking to buy a £250-ish card in the run up to Christmas? Nvidia wants the GeForce GTX 1660 Super to be it.

The move to a new GPU is easy for add-in card partners because they already produce a slew of GTX 1660 cards. Simply repurpose that cooling, change the memory, and voila, a new GPU is born. Palit produces four cards on this GPU, split between StormX and Super GamingPro models. Each sub-family is home to a standard-clocked edition running at 1,530MHz base and 1,785MHz boost and an OC variant chiming in at 1,830MHz boost. All four harness 14Gbps memory.

APH Networks: Philips Upbeat True Wireless SHB2505 Review

At the end of September, I had the chance to attend the IEEE 90th Vehicular Technology Conference in Honolulu, Hawaii. I was quite excited to go not just because I managed to have two research papers accepted, but also for the fact I am in Hawaii. I have never been there before, and what better thing is there than to be in a world-renowned vacation spot for sunshine and beaches than to be there for work and have everything paid for by someone else? Now, for those who have trouble believing I got any work done there, I can assure you I did. In my free time, however, I had a chance to tour the island of Oahu in my rental car. One of the things people kept talking about were the shrimp trucks; particularly, Giovanni's Shrimp Truck. At first, I was kind of confused and even somewhat reluctant to go. For one, while I do not hate shrimp, it is certainly not something I crave. Secondly, why would I buy food out of a truck on the side of the highway that only accepts cash? But since everyone was giving them rave reviews, I decided to cough up a whole $14 worth of greenbacks to the totally unenthusiastic person in the truck. When I got my food, I still was not convinced. All I got was a paper plate full of greasy shrimps, two scoops of rice, and a whole stack of napkins. What is going on? Then I took my first bite, and I literally said out loud, "Holy crap!" I did not even care how other people looked at me; I finished the entire plate of food in less than ten minutes. It was simply amazing. What I learned is sometimes, you really have to experience something to understand it. Recently, my colleague Aaron reviewed the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless, a set of high end true wireless earphones. But if you do not have $300 and still not convinced about why true wireless earphones are the way to go, Philips has a solution for you. The Upbeat True Wireless SHB2505 is a pair of true wireless earphones for the masses. But are they any good? Read on to see how it fared in the infamous APH Networks audio tests!

NikKTech: Patriot Viper 4 Blackout DDR4 32GB 3600MHZ CL17 Quad-Channel Kit Review

Consumers out in the market looking for a brand new RAM kit currently have two types to choose from, models with regular heatspreaders and models with RGB illuminated ones. For some this is actually a serious dilemma because even though RGB illuminated RAM kits look a lot better compared to regular ones (especially if your system also has other RGB illuminated parts) they do tend to cost more so to some people it far makes more sense either to spend less or spend the same amount for a faster regular kit. So as expected even though RAM manufacturers have shifted most of their focus in the design and manufacture of RGB illuminated kits they are not ready to "forsake" regular models just yet. After sending us their very good Viper RGB 3000MHZ DDR4 RAM kits back in early August, Patriot is back again this time with their Viper 4 Blackout Edition 3600MHZ DDR4 RAM Kits (PVB416G360C7K).
