Now that cold cathodes have hit the main stream it's time for them to evolve. We have even seen that quality go up and the prices go down. Another thing that has gone down is the size. Your average cold cathode tube will be around 12 inches (30cm) and having a tube that size might not be all that convenient. PCToys seeing that users might be turned away by the average tube have created its little brother, a 4 ½ inch (11.5cm) cold cathode.
