CoolTechZone reports that PQI Plans DDR2 at Speeds Higher than 1000MHz

When PQI first appeared with its aggressive DDR memory modules, everyone wondered if the company could compete against tier-one memory makers. Not only were we interested in its performance, but also the overall price. Since Corsair, Kingston and OCZ hold a fair share of market, recently entering OEMs with retail products had to deliver excellent performance at a low price. Our speculations were put to rest when evaluations started appearing on various online publications, and to our surprise PQI had priced its low-latency modules reasonably while still delivering excellent performance. That marked the beginning of PQI as one of the serious contenders of retail memory market, and it gave enthusiasts another choice in the already competitive industry.
