ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2080 Ti OC Review

In our quest with this new series of graphics cards, our next offering takes the form of the highly revered ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2080 Ti OC Edition. As its name suggests, this RTX 2080 Ti is factory overclock - the GPU boost clock out of the box sees it hit 1665MHz, while the memory has been left untouched. Along with a nudge up in performance we also receive a triple fan cooling design which the ROG team has revised somewhat; we can now benefit from Axial-tech Fans.

EWin Flash Series Computer Gaming Chair Review

After spending some time in the Flash XL, it becomes clear that a good chair is important, especially if you spend much time on your computer. The Flash XL, like the Champion, is whisper quiet. I could shift my weight from side to side, forward and back, and move all around and not hear any sounds. For me, that is a big plus. I can't stand a noisy chair. I can say that once you use a chair like this, there is no going back. And again, as I experienced with the Champion, the quality and workmanship on the Flash XL are excellent.

FiercePC Imperial Lightstorm Gaming PC Review

FiercePC has a very strong reputation within the custom PC building community. As a brand, they place a strong focus on products which are, essentially, some of the best the market has to offer. With this in mind, we take a look at the Imperial Lightstorm. A brand new system design from FiercePC that features a plethora of goodies inside from Thermaltake.

We’re honestly not joking either. This system is crammed almost top to toe in Thermaltake cooling products. Many of which we have reviewed previous in one capacity or another and have always been impressed with their performance. In addition, it should be noted that thanks to advancements in TT’s technology, all of the cooling and lighting effects are fully controllable by Amazon Alexa. Yes, you can tell Alexa to change the colour and it will work!

To, therefore, see a system build that is so heavily backed by this technology is interesting. It is, however, just the icing on the cake.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Founder Edition Graphics Card Review

The RTX cards have been smashing benchmarks here at eTeknix HQ all week. The flagship RTX 2080 Ti is certainly the jewel in the Nvidia crown with its ferocious performance figures. However, the RTX 2080 Founders Edition is one of the ones I’m more excited about, promising big performance at a price point that’s a little easier to manage. Of course, it also still packs new features like Ray Tracing, DLSS, and more, making it an interesting upgrade from the previous generation.

Seasonic PRIME 600 Titanium Fanless 600W Power Supply Review

If there is something I have enjoyed from living on my own, it is the sound of silence. No, I am not referring to the song by Simon and Garfunkel, though I do enjoy it too. Instead, I have relished the fact I am the only person to make noise within my four walls. It is not like my parents or my sister have been really loud or anything, but something about a house being a place of rest in silence is something I appreciate. In addition, if I ever want to make noise myself, I do not feel bad making sounds as it does not bother anyone else, besides for maybe my neighbors. To be fair, I often sing or make random noises while gaming or just using my computer, so it is possible I was the actual noisy one in my house, haha. On the other hand, the quietude also makes me paranoid when I hear other noises, especially in the middle of the night. All in all, I really enjoy the stillness of living on my own. When it comes to computing, I think it is safe to say there are many people who want the same. Whether it is a desktop or laptop, unintended noise emissions is one of the least desirable things from a system.
