A case full of fans blowing in and out in every direction is quite wasteful if there are obstructions blocking the airflow. You can help minimize the amount of obstructions by tucking your cables into empty drive bays, using TinyBGA memory versus full height sticks, and rounding the IDE, floppy, and SCSI cables for your drives. Rounding SCSI2 and DMA33 IDE cables is fairly easy, but what about your 80 wire ATA66/100 cables? We were sent a floppy cable and an 18" ATA66/100 cable from HighSpeedPC to evaluate.Read more
