As we can see from the photos, both cards differ considerably from first appearances. The ASUS model, if it weren't for the VGA connector's back sticking out, is almost a low profile design with an active fan. The Gigabyte model, on the other hand, is far closer to a full card design, but it features a passive cooling solution, meaning there is no fan to speak of.
