Geek Smack learned that current builds of Windows 8 don’t have any form of Live ID login integration in place

The reports that this feature existed stemmed from the innocent speculation after sites being tipped off with screenshots glanced at the display picture on the bottom right of the superbar and made assumptions that Live ID integration exists.

Instead, the image that lies to the bottom right of the superbar is simply your Windows account picture.
