Neowin reports that the highly anticipated Mango update for the Windows Phone platform will be landing on September 1 according to multiple sources.
According to Pocket Lint, they are citing multiple sources claiming that September 1 will be the day that Mango gets released. Although, this date does come before the "Fall" (starts September 23) announcement Microsoft made but does align to IFA.. IFA is Europe's largest consumer electronics show in Berlin, and if announced on this date, would allow companies such as Samsung, ZTE, LG , ACER and more to show off new devices with Mango installed.Rumor: Windows Phone 7 Mango to be released on September 1
Further, it is rumored that Nokia will also show off its first Windows Phone device at the Nokia World Conference. With the release/announcement of new hardware, it will help Microsoft build its portfolio of devices in the months leading up to holiday shopping season.
