8PACK gives BRIONY BEGINNER OVERCLOCKING Lesson

Have you never overclocked your system ? Are you afraid of the BIOS? Would you like to get some extra free performance from your system? We sent BRIONY down to Overclockers UK HQ to get some time with Overclocking legend 8PACK. The purpose wasn’t to use Liquid Nitrogen or to hit crazy benchmark figures but to get some hands on experience with 8PACK and to show Briony that using the basic functions in the BIOS really isn’t witchcraft, and it shouldn’t be scary either. It wasn’t. It shouldn’t be for you either. We recorded it all. Lose the fear. Let us know if you want more of these kind of videos on our Channel!

AMD Ryzen Mobile Pro Details + Specifications Leaked

The AMD Ryzen Mobile Pro is based on the same combination of a CPU and a GPU with HBM2 memory, and the Embedded Multi-Die Interconnect Bridge (EMIB).

Good news – AMD is calling the Ryzen Mobile Pro an APU (Accelerated Processing Unit), and not another acronym. But if they’re looking for suggestions – may we suggest Advanced Gaming Processor (AGP)?

Final Fantasy XV Review

With Final Fantasy XV on PC, Square Enix shows the world how to do a PC port right. The PC rendition shines with effort and grace and clearly exhibits months and months of hard work--countless weeks of crunching, iteration, tweaking and building to create an optimized and stunning port that runs great even on older hardware.

The core Final Fantasy XV experience is still intact and tells of a unique, almost-modern timeframe infused with crystals, magic-powered machines, and massive god-like summons all wrapped in a traditional fairy-tale style story with its own sprawling lore.

G.Skill Sniper X DDR4-3200 16GB Dual-Channel Memory Review

Density ranges from 16GB kits to 64GB ones, and speeds can range from 2400MHz on through 3600MHZ. Timings will vary per kit too, where the tightest binned kit uses 16-16-16-36 2T, and the high-speed kits require 19-19-19-39 2T. The kit we are testing today is midrange in the selections, where we are guaranteed 3200MHz via the XMP 2.0 profile with timings of 16-18-18-38 2T at 1.35V.

In the past, we knew of a few motherboards with camouflage patterns applied to either the heat sinks, the PCB, or both, but currently, we can only think of the MSI motherboard which can run DDR4. Even though a camo motherboard would be the obvious choice for Sniper X memory, many systems have a military theme to them, and there are a few cases on the market which start this off for many users too.

Intel NUC8i7HVK Review: Vega takes a trip to Hades Canyon

Announced at Intel's Developer Forum in 2012, and launched later that year, the Next Unit of Computing (NUC) project was initially a bit confusing to the enthusiast PC press. In a market that appeared to be discarding traditional desktops in favor of notebooks, it seemed a bit odd to launch a product that still depended on a monitor, mouse, and keyboard, yet didn't provide any more computing power.

Despite this criticism, the NUC lineup has rapidly expanded over the years, seeing success in areas such as digital signage and enterprise environments. However, the enthusiast PC market has mostly eluded the lure of the NUC.

Samsung Galaxy S9+ review: Greater than the sum of its parts

Like clockwork, Samsung announced the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, and although they weren't a complete surprise in terms of design, they do have some new tricks up their sleeves. Taking a page from Apple's book this year, Samsung made an effort to really distinguish the S9+ model from its standard S9 variant, giving the former not just an increased display size and battery, but also offering up dual camera sensors. Samsung has been dominating the smartphone world for quite some time, but will it be able to continue its reign?
