AMD Ryzen Mobile Pro Details + Specifications Leaked

The AMD Ryzen Mobile Pro is based on the same combination of a CPU and a GPU with HBM2 memory, and the Embedded Multi-Die Interconnect Bridge (EMIB).

G.Skill Sniper X DDR4-3200 16GB Dual-Channel Memory Review

Density ranges from 16GB kits to 64GB ones, and speeds can range from 2400MHz on through 3600MHZ. Timings will vary per kit too, where the tightest binned kit uses 16-16-16-36 2T, and the high-speed kits require 19-19-19-39 2T. The kit we are testing today is midrange in the selections, where we are guaranteed 3200MHz via the XMP 2.0 profile with timings of 16-18-18-38 2T at 1.35V.

In the past, we knew of a few motherboards with camouflage patterns applied to either the heat sinks, the PCB, or both, but currently, we can only think of the MSI motherboard which can run DDR4. Even though a camo motherboard would be the obvious choice for Sniper X memory, many systems have a military theme to them, and there are a few cases on the market which start this off for many users too.

Intel NUC8i7HVK Review: Vega takes a trip to Hades Canyon

Announced at Intel's Developer Forum in 2012, and launched later that year, the Next Unit of Computing (NUC) project was initially a bit confusing to the enthusiast PC press. In a market that appeared to be discarding traditional desktops in favor of notebooks, it seemed a bit odd to launch a product that still depended on a monitor, mouse, and keyboard, yet didn't provide any more computing power.

Despite this criticism, the NUC lineup has rapidly expanded over the years, seeing success in areas such as digital signage and enterprise environments. However, the enthusiast PC market has mostly eluded the lure of the NUC.

Samsung Galaxy S9+ review: Greater than the sum of its parts
