The Tech Zone takes a look at a couple of new laser printers from Samsung, the ML-1710 and ML-1750.
As I'm sure you figured out, this is a double review today. The reason for this is everything aesthetic about these printers is the same, they simply vary in specs. The ML-1710 is a 600x600dpi black and white Laser Printer. It produces text and images (though not really suited for the latter) at 17 ppm. The ML-1750 is the bigger cousin, sporting the same speed specs, but doing it at 1200x600 dpi, which is more suitable for printing of images. Like any other laser printer, these two have text reproduction that not even the most expensive inkjet can replicate. Black as oil, the text is. Imagery is only reserved for photocopy like reproduction on the 1710 and for reports where colour isn't important on the 1750 side.Read more
