While Sapphire's Radeon X800 GTO does indeed run with just twelve pipelines enabled by default, the moniker is there for a reason, and signifies a departure from other X800 GTO parts on the market in a number of facets - One of those facets being the ability, via a video card BIOS flash, to enable all sixteen pixel pipelines on the R480 core powering these boards without issue.
