Since 2001 Sapphiretech has taken a leap into the mainstream market and is doing quite well. Sapphire sent over one of their X800GTO 256meg AGP card to put through its paces. The X800GTO uses the R420 core and has 12 pipelines, the memory runs at 490 MHz (980 MHz) memory and 400 MHz core clock. The memory used on the X800GTO is Samsung GC20 2.0ns GDDR3 that is capable of 1000 MHz which we will test out later.
