VIA Hardware has posted a review on Shuttle's latest revision to their AK31 series the AK31 v3.1. The board features 6PCI slots and an abundance of overclocking options for only $84 on Pricewatch.
Over the past few months Shuttle Computer International, or known as Spacewalker in the East, has been experiencing rapid user growth since they released their AK31 v2.0. This time around instead of reengineering the current design like they did with the second revision, they simply just dropped the KT266A northbridge on the existing revision 2 design. This is fine since KT266A’s should be able to be dropped onto current KT266 board designs without any problems and why fix something that isn’t broken? Shuttle’s new board is dubbed AK31 v3.1.
