The gaming industry has boomed in the last 10 years and has truly started taking off since gamers began live streaming themselves playing a plethora of different games. Earlier this week I delivered our initial look at the Core i7-1065G7 Icelake Linux performance compared to Whiskey Lake and Kabylake-R. Intel Tremont CPU Microarchitecture: Power Efficient, High-Performance x86

MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Super Gaming Z Trio Review

NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 2070 Super launched not long ago, in July this year. The new SKU was released to counter AMD's Radeon RX 5700-series "Navi" graphics cards, which ended up faster than the plain GeForce RTX 2070. Unlike the RTX 2070, the RTX 2070 Super is based on the 13.6 billion-transistor "TU104" silicon since NVIDIA had maxed out the "TU106" with the original RTX 2070. The "TU104" is at the heart of the much pricier RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Super graphics cards.

Another benefit is partners using heavy cooling solutions that were originally designed to handle the much hotter RTX 2080, and perhaps even the RTX 2080 Ti.

Silverstone SX700-G Review

If you visit LanOC often you might notice I love checking out and using SFX power supplies. Early on they were limited in power, heat, and even in options with most models not even being available with modular cables but over the years that has changed significantly. I even took a look at an 800-watt Titanium model just last year. But a lot of the innovation has been with the SFX-L form factor which is similar but not as small as the normal SFX form factor even though a lot of cases only support the latter. But Between Corsair and Silverstone big strides have been made in SFX as well like Silverstone’s SX700-G. It doesn’t have the same Titanium 80 Plus rating as the SX800-LTI but it does win in wattage per liter with an impressive 882 watts per liter. Today I’m going to check out the SX700-G and see what Silverstone has been up to in the true SFX form factor, check it out.
