TweakTown has posted up a Socket A Orb Cooling Quick Guide.

The next generation Thermaltake Orb cooler (featured in the picture above) has 2 black padded feet. These sit around the CPU core which prevent the cooler from slipping on to the CPU die thus preventing the cooler from damaging the die - nice, yet simple idea on Thermaltake´s behalf. The two Orb coolers we have in our possession are quite different from one another. Let me explain, the original Golden Orb cooler has a max RPM of 5500 and puts out 22 CFM air volume whereas the new Chrome Orb cooler runs at 10,000 RPM and puts out 25 CFM. The unique design of the two coolers are the same, they just have different fans.
