Overclockers New Zealand has posted a review on the Soltek SL-75DRV5 KT333 motherboard
KT-333 is the first chipset from VIA to officially support 333 MHz memory operation. Most people's eyes would be fixed on this number, 333, however there should be a few facts people should know about this chipset. Firstly, there are no added functions or improvements over KT-266A, apart from 333MHz memory operation and 1/5 PCI divider. Secondly, FSB and memory are running asynchronously, 266 MHz and 333 MHz (provided you have a type C TB or XP chip), respectively. Personally, I don't think the CPU will be able to utilise the extra bandwidth due to the asynchronous mode. Finally, there are NO official standard for DDR-333 memory modules. All the DDR-333 modules on the market are overclocked from DDR-266.Read more
