ASRock H55M-LE Motherboard Review
Vortez.co.uk takes a look at the ASRock H55M-LE Motherboard

At Vortez we have been mostly focussing on Intel X58 and AMD AM3 based motherboards but today I will be delving into a new category of board. LGA1156. New to Vortez, but certainly not new to the market, the LGA1156 platform first debuted Q3 2009/Q1 2010 and supports 45nm and 32nm processors in the flavour of Intel's Core i5 and Core i7 lineup - dual-core (Intel Core i5 650-760) and quad-core (Intel Core i7 860-880).

Coming in at a much lower price-tag to that of the big brother LGA1366, the LGA1156 platform allows consumers to channel into the Core i7 family of processors and get some quad-core goodness. In this first review of the LGA1156 category of motherboards I will be taking a close look at the H55M-LE from ASRock. A micro ATX sized board with one PCI-E x16 slot, one PCI-E x1 slot, integrated VGA and support for up to DDR3-2600+ (OC). Great for HTPC consumers on a budget, well at least so it seems!

GELID Wing 14 UV 140mm Fan Review
DreamWare Computers posted a review on the GELID Wing 14 UV 140mm Fan

The Wing 14 is the the latest performance fan from GELID. This is a 140mm fan that comes straight from the "Gamer" class of fans in GELID's product lineup. However, GELID is working on cross advertising some of these gamer designed fans into the silent field as well - the Wing 14 included. The front of the box highlights in quite large letters that this is a "low speed optimized silent fan". My regular readers will know how fan crazy I am, so I'm already excited to put the Wing 14 up against the competition to see where it stands!

techPowerUp posted a review on the Thermaltake Armor A60

The Armor A60 is a smaller version of the popular Armor A90. It retains the cool and edgy look of the larger brother, but also offers a few new and interesting features and updates. We throw everything we have at the case to see if the Armor A60 remains standing once the dust has settled.

Seagate Momentus 640GB 2.5 Inch Hard Drive Review
TechwareLabs reviews the Seagate Momentus 640GB 2.5 Inch Hard Drive

For those who choose a laptop as their primary computer, storage space is an eternal problem. Between games, music, movies and pictures, the gigabytes can disappear before you know it. While this is true of any PC, notebooks have it doubly rough: they usually only have space for one drive, and that one has to fit the 2.5 inch form factor. Today, we'll be looking at one of Seagate's answers to this challenge, the Momentus 640GB.

Antec LanBoy Air Modular Case Review
HardwareHeaven.com posted Antec LanBoy Air Modular Case Review

Once again the designers at Antec have been given the chance to attack the case market with a novel product and that goes by the name of the LanBoy Air. This new case from Antec sticks with a reasonably standard layout but the chassis itself is modular with massive airflow thanks to the majority of the chassis being perforated.

The ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 is a formidable board. It is well thought out and the engineering design and chipset takes it even further. MSI GeForce GTX 460 HAWK 1GB Review
PureOverclock has published a review of the MSI GeForce GTX 460 HAWK 1GB graphics card

The MSI GTX 460 HAWK sports a gorgeous custom Frozr II heatsink that we've seen on other MSI cards, but what's really interesting about this model is that it comes with a huge factory overclock and has some voltage tweaking abilities. And we're not talking some some lame little 25MHz overclock either. MSI goes for the jugular here, pushing the card very far. And all this while maintaining very low temperatures. Sounds like a recipe for a winner to us. Sound promising? We think so.
