VIA Hardware has posted a review on the Soyo K7VTA Pro motherboard, based on the VIA KT133A Chipset.

I had an interesting conversation with Soyo on why they choose not to implement CPU Multiplier adjustments in the bios. They said that they feel having the CPU multiplier adjusted via a dip switch adds to system stability and resolves boot problems. This makes some sense, as lets say you had a 950 MHz. Athlon that was running at 7.5x133. On motherboards that just have the Dip switches for 100 or 133 FSB on the motherboard, on boot, for the quick second before the Bios starts, the computer would be trying to recognize a 9.5x133 and may not boot because of the high speed.
