Apple iPhone 11, 11 Pro & 11 Pro Max Review

It’s been a little over a year since our review of the iPhone XS and XS Max, and it’s that time of the year to investigate Apple’s latest and greatest: the iPhone 11 family. This time around Apple was able to launch all three phones, the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max simultaneously, and we’ve gotten our hands on all of them. We’ll be running them through our extensive testing marathon, again hopefully revealing more about how Apple’s newest hardware improvements change the product experience.

This year we’re not seeing major changes how Apple is slicing up their market segments among the phone models, though we are seeing bit of a name change for the new phones. The iPhone 11 is the direct successor to the iPhone XR: The new phone largely remains similar to its predecessor in terms of externals, although we’re seeing the newest internal hardware as well as adoption of two of the three new cameras in the series.

The market changed abruptly and shifted towards 2.5 and even 5G with the introduction of Wi-Fi 6. Now more than ever increased wired speeds are necessary as wireless is quickly becoming faster than ever. Several vendors have released adapters, taking advantage of the performance and flexibility offered over USB 3.2. Back in August, we had our first look with the TRENDnet solution and today ASUSTOR was kind enough to send their solution over. ASUSTOR is taking an interesting stance with its 2.5Gbe solution, marketing it as an upgrade for both your PC and several of their NAS appliances. In fact, most of their current lineup supports the 2.5Gbe upgrade over USB but for those interested models include: AS31/32/50/51/52/53/61/62/63/64/70 Series.

Dell XPS 13 Review

Dell's XPS family of premium laptops has long been synonymous with excellent performance and build quality. In particular, the XPS 13 lineup has included some of the most highly awarded ultraportable PCs on the market today. Today, we have Dell's latest XPS 13 on hand: model 7390, which is a 2-in-1 model with a 360 degree hinge and a 13.3-inch multi-touch IPS display that converts what looks like an otherwise-traditional laptop into a tablet. Perhaps more importantly, this is the first retail notebook we've gotten our mitts on with Intel's 10nm CPUs, codenamed Ice Lake, in tow. In fact, Dell says this is the first notebook shipped to market with an Ice Lake processor inside.

Logitech G PRO X Gaming Headset with Blue VO!CE Review

SteelSeries Sensei Ten Gaming Mouse Review

After quite a bit of gaming in Diablo III, Rage 2 and Quake: Champions, the mouse continued to feel very comfortable thanks to the shape we also loved from the original Sensei; we did use it on our gaming system that sports a 1440P display, but also on the test system that is linked to a 4K TV and after adjusting the sensitivity, the tracking was smooth as butter. The left/right click mechanical buttons have a nice feel to it when actuated and are rated for 60 million keypresses which is quite a lot compared to other mainstream mice. With this mouse we are not getting a braided USB cable, but the rubber material is quite solid and should last for quite a while.

SteelSeries Sensei Ten Review

The history of the SteelSeries Sensei actually starts back with the SteelSeries Xai which launched back in 2009. The Xai was a huge departure from their previous mouse the Ikari and its new shape was ambidextrous and smaller using some of the popular mice in CS 1.6 like the Intellimouse and feedback from gamers to create the Xai shape. I covered the Xai back then and loved it but it did have some problems. SteelSeries later took that same shape but with an upgraded sensor and an onboard processor and introduced it under a new name, the Sensei. We actually had the first English review of the Sensei https://lanoc.org/review/input-devices/5274-steel-series-sensei all the way back in 2011. I started using the Xai as my main mouse and quickly switched over to the Sensei after its launch and for a solid 8 years used the Sensei or one of the many other variations like the RAW or game or team branded models as my main mouse and in my LAN bag as well.
