BEIJING, China -- Sept. 19, 2000 -- Microsoft President & CEO, Steve Ballmer, today outlined Microsoft .NET, in China, at a conference, attended by more than two thousand Chinese IT professionals and developers.
Since the launch of .NET in June, this new strategy has been a hot topic for the whole industry in China. At the developer´s conference, Steve Ballmer said, "Microsoft.Net is our vision for the next generation of the Internet, where computing will move beyond Web browsing to an advanced Internet platform and a new world of dynamic software services.
